Light Years Before Star Trek

Post by Torpedo184 »

This is the only other Dr. X tale I have. His niece, Cynthia, becomes one of the first humans to be teleported; in this case to the moon. Sci-fi fun from 1940! I wonder now if this is where Roddenberry got some of his influence?

I know this is pedantic, but a lightyear isn't a measure of time, but of distance. Specifically the distance light travels in a year. So your title doesn't make any sense. xD
Anyway, it's a neat little scene! Love the old-timey sci-fi aesthetic.

That's amusing lol
although it can make sense if you think about it in this sense. by light years before star trek it can be used as a measurment of distance if you say it was SO MUCH earlier than star trek you'd have to measure it in distance.
either way cute scene and no im not trying to poke any buttons here i promise :D

@ Strangerinthecorner, the title is pun-intended. Besides, both time & distance are factored into light speed ( or any speed). TIME is the dominating factor.

@Truthseeker, no worries ;) I'm just here to have fun & post :D
