Normally I'm not into shipping, let alone yuri shipping, but I'm okay with Mutsu and Nagato from KanColle (and not just because they are actual ships!).



Real shame none of the other women from that series are appealing to me.

I decided to copy Jokerht's style (wow I'm out of practice), it seems like the shine is off white and requires a darker shade adjacent for the shine effect to work. The effect does seem to improve the more of the blur tool I use as well as make the sides jagged like regular tape. Also worth noting I used straight lines instead of curved for the top and bottom portions. For this example I used Shion and Mion from When They Cry/Higurashi Naku na Kori ni.

if i check it again... either this gag was a manipulation made by someone, or the anime ep differs from version (cut and uncut)...since in this pic she has the gag on... and here while she is falling the gag is off
