Welp, the scene in episode 8 was so quick the screenshot from the preview last posted here pretty much covered it. They might continue it next episode but I feel the chances of that are really slim. And not that I wanna nitpick, but is anyone else bothered by the fact that every other fighter had to get the crap beat out of them to keep them down but the tied up girl gets slapped once in the face and she's down for the count?

I watched the recent episode too; plus side is offscreen she's been tied up for 3-4 episodes now. Downside is the plot doesn't appear to care much for her now.

Yeah, I noticed that too. Looks like she might get usurped by the red-headed hero's childhood friend/sweetheart. Speaking of said childhood friend, I find it really weird that she's heavily featured in the opening and the show's promotion yet is missing for the majority of the show.
