@ 0:25 there is a scene where a human is fully cocooned, mummy style, wiggling. I don't know if it's some kind of "Game Over", but cocooning is confirmed

From what I can tell, dying is a "fade to black" screen, so I don't think that the player can get wrapped up. However, in the clip @1:30 you can see a human on the ground, struggling and squirming while cocooned. So I can only assume what we saw in the trailer are just random bodies who are caught and cocooned.

I didn't know about cocooned bodies. I have heard of the game and taken interest in it considering that it would be the first Harry Potter game released on PC and console since LEGO Harry Potter: Years 5-7 and the badly received Deathly Hallows Part 2 game, both released in 2011. Technically, the major game that was released was Hogwarts Mystery in 2018 though I'm mixed on the game. It would be a decent Harry Potter game if it wasn't for the microtransactions which wasn't helped that the game was released 5 months after Electronic Arts' Star Wars Battlefront II which was infamous for sparking the lootbox controversy.

There is Cocooning in the Game , and its for the Player , Its underwhelming compared to the trailer but better than nothing

It seems rather than a cocoon shape , they just silk wrapped the character and her shape is totally present but covered with Silk cocoon , Good thing is that she makes Good struggling animation

I just realized that this game has exclusive content for PlayStation which I don't understand since there's nothing in the game that would prevent it from being on PC and Xbox. I could understand if the content is from a Sony/PlayStation game that would explain why the content is exclusive to PlayStation, but this is a third-party game who Sony doesn't even own (Harry Potter was created by JK Rowling and Warner Bros. owns the rights to Harry Potter), so there's no legal reason why PC, Xbox, and possibly Switch players can't access the Haunted Hogsmeade Shop quest. On similar note, Resident Evil 6 from 2013 had Left 4 Dead 2 characters exclusively for the PC version (although only on No Mercy mode) which can be understandable since it was on Valve's Steam service and Left 4 Dead 2 is a Valve game.

As for the player being webbed, I wonder if it stops the player or something. I remember some enemies in Dragon Age: Origins like spiders can use a webbing attack that webs and stops a character in place.

Well, i think the trailer is one of the NPC's on the ground like I linked. Those seem to have a lot more detail in their wrappings
