the first at 29:50 which has the main villain force a Caucasian whistlebroker tied to a chair, hands behind to confirm the protag's wife is a traitor (it's a frameup). The tvtropes post says the villain kills her afterwards but I fastforwarded 15 minutes and didn't find anything.
The second at 1 hour:32 minutes where the wife has been captured and her hands tied. The protag takes the villain's deal and offers himself up and they sit at a table for negotiations (they're kind enough to let him sit by his wife). The protag however manages to reveal that the main villain was actually double-crossing one of his partners and with that chaos along with good guy backup showing up outside a massive firefight ensures with the protag tackling his bound wife to the floor and hiding behind the table for cover. You can see her wrists tied with some sort of plasti-cuffs as he cuts it with a knife. They flee and the main villain chases after them after the chaos subsides. There's some more firefight after the protag finds a gun. The wife gets shot in the crossfire so sad ending, but she wasn't bound when killed.

which apparently happened in the season finale of Voice 2 but I don't see that. She does get injured by a bomb by that's because she got tricked into searching for a boy's voice calling for help which turns out to be a tape recorder next to the bomb. However she was fully free and had her gun out looking for survivors herself.

Cruiser has a serial killer dress up as a cop in order to kill people. He kidnaps a woman and has her watch her crime spree before killing her at the end too. It sounds like she'd be tied but I'm not sure since it seems to be an obscure film and I can't find it anywhere. Apparently it's on tubi but I don't have any streaming subscriptions.

"After the public execution of her fiancee and co-anchor Bronson Pearl at the order of the Antichrist, she manages to escape captivity and is forced to take up a small band of fellow believers to oppose him and to bring as many people to Christ as they can before it's too late."
Sounds like it might have something but skimming the second movie doesn't appear to have anything and the summary of the plot on wiki seems to say that her cell just happens to connect outside anyway? She does have her hands behind her back as she gets arrested at the end of the first film but she's thrown into a police truck and we see her hands are free while witnessing her husband's hanging.

Sardines in the dark, Sounds like the final girl is tied to a chair but someone manages to sucker punch and kill the villain but the monster surprises the hero and kills them before they can free the girl and the girl is still tied to the chair helpless as the monster advances on her and the story ends.
Bondage in a mystery novel
I just finished reading Lost Little Girl by Gregory Stout, a mystery novel set in Nashville, TN. Near the end of the novel, the protagonist's love interest, a beautiful blonde, is being held captive and menaced by the dastardly villain, who has bound and gagged and blindfolded her with duct tape.
Earlier in the novel, there is an anecdote about domestic abuse, where a victim was bound and gagged with a rag stuffed into her mouth.
