FBI: Trump took nuclear weapon documents

Among the boxes of classified documents that have been retrieved from the FBI's recent raid on Mar-A-Lago, former president Donald Trump had sensitive documents pertaining to the nuclear arsenal. The kind of documents that are normally classified HIGHER than top secret. The kind of papers that doesn't leave it's designated location without the sitting president knowing about it and are not allowed to have digital copies. The kind of intell law enforcement is not allowed to have access to. The same thing the Rosenburgs were tried and executed over. Ignore the politics around this, ignore left and right, democrat and republican, centrist and apolitical, various bodily and social identities, conspiracies (I fully admit I was expecting some bromance shit with Kim Jong Un was the reason for this), recent events, and even nationalities for a minute: A former world leader of a nuclear power stole documents relating to his nation's nuclear weaponry and stored them in a basement with minimal security, God knows who was aware these documents were even there for the 19 months they were not supposed to be in those boxes, and could have easily been stolen from anyone with a petty burglar to the Russian Spetznas. This is horrifying. This is the kind of shit that can lead to over a billion people being killed and an entire continent being drenched in nuclear fallout. There is a very real chance this FBI raid prevented a possible nuclear conflict. FU-CKING-HELL My brain hurts trying to wrap this together.

He's absolute scum. At least he's getting hoisted by his own petard, getting nailed by:

1: a federal judge he appointed
2: the FBI Director he appointed
3: the law HE signed into place about classified documents

At this point any crime 45 does after the raid I blame squarely on the Department of Justice. Ignoring everything else he had TOP. SECRET. NUCLEAR. DOCUMENTS. BOOK HIM! I can't figure out why the cuffs haven't been used at this point! They have enough to charge him with serious crimes. It doesn't matter if this was Trump, Biden, Obama, Bush, Clinton, Carter, Reagan (in before Iran Contraband), Nixon, Ford, Johnson, Kennedy, any of their vice presidents, WHOEVER. This year cannot end without an arrest warrant being issued, the threat is genuinely nuclear with the entire civilized world vulnerable.

Biden, Obama, Bush, Clinton, Carter, Reagan
Hope you realize that every one of those guys also has classified documents at their various homes. This is nothing new and exactly why the media is pivoting and calling "NOT A RAID WE SWEAR." This has all the weight of the sad, pathetic, partisan impeachments they attempted. The Dems have decided to go full nuclear on their chances for any kind of electability. This is already blowing up in their faces. :\

Watching this idiot's followers try to move the goalposts has been very funny. And yes, this needs to end with actual consequences this time.

The only people moving goalposts are the corrupt federal agents who greenlit this raid.

If true then they need to be booked and tried. I like the ones that aren't Dick Cheney, but nobody is above the law.
This is already blowing up in their faces.
In a normal midterm year I'd agree, but after what happened with Roe in June and all the congressional Republicans deciding not to cap the price of insulin I'm not betting money on either side.

The former president said they have his passports and they're not giving them back, strong indication something will happen.

No they don't because it's not inherently illegal. Hence the farce that this is. This is all because they have nothing in the Jan 6 hearings. They have nothing ONCE AGAIN and they still double down on this tactic because they know they've lost the narrative and they have a walking corpse in the White House and no one that is electable.

Looking at any poll (even the left bias ones) it's going to be a slaughter for Dems in November. Inflation and prices are the most votable issues and Biden has fucked that up royally. It was going to happen anyway because of the bullshit lock-downs but they could have mitigated it, but they didn't. Now their solution is to triple down on the police state and arm IRS agents. They are so out of touch with American ideals they are an unelectable body.

One wonders why a similar raid wasn't performed on Mrs. Clinton ... that is, before she wiped her computer servers and smashed her computer hard disks.

Well, for one, Ms Clinton didn't try to orchestrate the other throw of the US government or stole classified nuclear secrets.....

^Or leave giant holes in the Nation Archives's records. And it turns out I wasn't far off from Russian Spetznas, spies were there.

Too long didn't read: "Well we couldn't find any criminal intent despite throwing two dozen agents on the case". Which does raise the question why Jeff Sessions or Will Barr didn't investigate.

Yes certainly no criminal intent in pouring bleach on hard drives or anything. Totally normal thing to do while being investigated. Just like the Clinton foundation is totally clean and not foreign political money laundering.

At least one of the nuclear files found at Mar-A-Lago were not pertaining to America's nuclear arsenal. These are the kind of papers that are put in a box with a lock and key and under 24/7 watch by a guard with most of the government being unaware of their the existence of said papers. Two points I hope everyone understands from this:

1. The guards need to be publicly fired for gross negligence or deliberately allowing these papers to leave the confines. I have worked in analytics and manufacturing. This shit here? People get fired and blacklisted for mistakes smaller than this. Nobody on Trump's staff should have just yanked these away especially the fact it took EIGHTEEN MONTHS to retrieve them! I have to imagine federal secrets are kept in locations more secure than the mental asylum Sarah Connor was held in from Terminator 2.

2. No matter who's nuclear capabilities these were the US just received a long term blackeye in foreign relations. UK, France, Germany, Belgium, Holland, Italy, or Israel? For at least a generation will cause trust issues, the populations of those states *WILL* doubt the US for keeping any semblance of order, their governments will hesitate to share critical intell, and this will give demagogues a chance to be voted in and server US relations. North Korea? Kim Jong Un the living cheese ball might do something drastic and test one of his shitty missiles on South Korea or Japan in retaliation/last resort daring the US to come and fight. Russia? Might actually light up Ukraine in nuclear fire which they have been keeping on the table for months. India or Pakistan? Will find something to exploit in the opposing country, do something stupid shortly after, and a big ass war will likely ensue since they have a reputation for hating each other's guts. China? President Xi might want to flex his might/dick and go after Taiwan and/or some Southeast Asia countries or deploy some economic fuckery to mess with the west they haven't tested yet (and China has the resources to pull that off). This is ignoring how enemies of those countries might have already seen these files, will try to exploit weaknesses in nuclear technology or worse even copy it, and you can imagine the shitshow that comes after this.

Am I in the wrong for being utterly horrified by this?
