I don't know if it was ever reprinted. Apparently the strip was later renamed as «Captain Yank», so you could try searching that.

Haven't posted on this board in a long time, but I have to say, this thread has been great. In particular, the
"King of the Royal Mounted" scene from 1947-08-24 to 10-05 that you posted is one of the best comic scenes with an OTN gagged damsel I've seen in a long, long time! That one was brand new to me, and I think it's one of my top favorites scenes now. The damsel (Ivy) is super-cute and sexy, she's barefoot, in a great peril, and OTN gagged tightly with great close-ups. What's not to love!?

The interesting thing about that girl is that she's not a just a one-off character in the "King of the Royal Mounted" series. I started to look for other scenes after seeing the batch you posted and I've found she appears in at least 2 or 3 other stories in the "King" strips as a recurring character. Haven't found any more DiD with her yet, but she does show up from time to time and always seems to draw King into some sort of trouble.

How much of "King of the Royal Mounted" have you actually searched for scenes? I'm particularly interested in what might still be out there in the daily stories, since several of the scenes you posted seem to be from the Sundays.

I have searched all of it, I think. There are many more scenes without gags but I did not bother to save any.
