My little pony friendship is magic comic collection volume 4

In this volume on the first story the ponies help a pirate recover a lost treasure which turns out to be a mer-mare sweetheart. I thought the story had a potential damsel-in-distress moment but it didn't. Fortunetly on the comic covers showcase page there was a cover art where Twilight, Applejack, Rarity, Pinky Pie, and Fluttershy are tied up with ropes and are walking the plank while Rainbow Dash had a duel with the captain.

And on the second story the girls have to stop a magical bookworm from eating the stories from Twilight's library and creating cocoons. Twilight, Rarity, Rainbow Dash and Pinkie Pie travel into the world of books while Applejack, Fluttershy and Spike deal with the cocoons. In a Daring-doo type story Rainbow Dash, Twilight and Pinky are tied up with ropes as part of a sacrifice to some hamster tribe. Meanwhile the storybook characters come to life in Ponyville and the villains captured Daring-doo, Applejack, and Fluttershy in the library all chained up together as the main villainess the evil Queen of Trottingham tries to look for the elements of harmony to make into her crown jewels.

Whew! That's about all I can tell you guys but one thing I notice about the comic version of the show. The ponies get into more damsels in distress stituations than they do on their TV shows.

Speaking of the show and damsels in distress, I've been telling myself Rarity is the only member of the mane six who has never been tied up nor gagged on the show. Does this count as a gag?
