In the most recent episode, "Society Of The Blind Eye", Mabel and Wendy (along with Dipper and Soos) get captured and tied up by some creepy cultist types who want to erase their memories. They're tied up around a pole with their arms to their sides, it's not really that tight of a tie and they're eventually rescued by Old Man McGucket.
