Time Crisis games

In the first Time Crisis game, the president's daughter, Rachel Macpherson, has been kidnapped. (Hmm, this sounds familiar...)

In this cheesy trailer that is reminiscent of old action movies, there are bits that show Rachel in distress. Some are the same as the in-game cutscenes which I will point out later, but there are a couple of unique scenes that are only in this trailer.

@ 0:32 - Rachel is in the clutches of the bad guy Wild Dog and struggles to get free.

@ 1:19 - Again, Rachel is in Wild Dog's grasp while there's an explosion in the background. In this scene, her hands are tied behind her, but you'll see in the actual game that this changes.

@ 2:55-3:22 - In the first cutscene, Rachel, with her hands tied behind her back, is confronted by her kidnapper Sherudo Garo.

@ 7:18-7:25 - the player as Richard Miller finds Rachel but she is then spirited away by the old sliding wall trick. (This reminds me of something...)

@ 12:24-12:39 - Richard finds Rachel again but is then forced into a boss battle against Sherudo.

@ 13:54-14:45 - After that, Wild Dog takes Rachel hostage. After the loading screen, he drags along Rachel who is untied for some reason.

@ 19:34-20:11 - Rachel escapes from Wild Dog and runs to Richard but is shot. Don't worry, she lives in the end.

Moving on to Time Crisis: Project Titan, Richard returns to save a woman named Marisa Soleil.

In Time Crisis 2, the damsel this time is a woman named Christy Ryan.

@ 19:08-19:25 - She's then seen sitting with her hands tied behind her and giving the good old "You'll never get away with this" kind of line to the bad guy Ernesto Diaz.

@ 23:59-25:07 - the player engages in a boss fight against Diaz who uses Christy as a shield. By the end, he discards her but she is saved.

Nice catalog! Never seen a lot of these. The Time Crisis one brings back memories of the old arcade.
