Oh you think Mystic Warriors is the only one that had DID? Well, its predecessor, Sunset Riders also has one! Granted, it just happened to the NPCs, but... yeah.
Stage 4. You storm a Saloon, where you have to rescue THREE Saloon dancers tied up and gagged by the three bosses. Kill the bosses, you free them and they do a dance routine before you proceed to the next stage.

In the Genesis version, the tied up girl is like the "goal" at the end of a stage, so almost every stage has them.
