As I already promised it's a show that nobody ever saw, heard or checked so far. The plot of the series is that the parents of the two heroes are kidnapped and they are searching for them during the entire show; which in almost every ep leads them into some DID situation. Another great thing is that the show kicks off each time with a gag scene in the OP and ends in the final episode with another gag scene, this time featuring their parents.

Some episode numbers don't follow the story of the series, like ep 2 which is normally the ending episode, but except that I think all the rest are correct.

This reminds me of the Night Hood OP, where Kelly Kincaid was gagged during the whole series.

This scene is a goof made by the producers, because you can see that the blindfold becomes a gag and turns back to a blindfold in the next scene. So their mistake is our luck.

Terrific! This one came outta nowhere for me too as I'd never heard of it either. A very nice surprise, especially with the 4 gag scenes and 1 hand-gag. It's quite lucky to get that many gags in a cartoon with only 26 episodes, and to have one in an opening is ultra-rare. Like you mentioned, Nighthood is the only other one that comes to mind.

By the way, the English title for this is Alex and Alexis. I found a folder with links to download all the episodes on 4shared, but you have to sign-up for a free account, that's the only catch:

After scanning a bit more on this recent chinese site, I found the 1998 "movie" of Alx et Alexis, on what the producers based there 2005 series from above.
Here are all the DIDs from the movie. Some are exact as those from the series, but some (with red margins) are different.

Wow that's quite a few scenes, and I love it when an intro teases DID potential; though it can be annoying when such scenes might not come to fruition in actuality.

Yep. I think this series and Night Hood were the only series that didn't produce the exact gag scenes that were featured in their openings. Good thing we had many others
