Re: Superted
The dude is a take on Johnny Cash. The others are Minnie Pearl, Dolly Parton, Willie Nelson, and Loreta Lynn. Wait...there is another scene I just remembered at the end of the episode where Superted played a black and white detective, a sexy woman dressed like Texas Pete is tied up at the end of that episode.
Re: Superted
As I said before I think or it might be my bad memory but I 'm sure there a tied to railroad scene

Nope, not yet anyway. Here's the surprise: viewtopic.php?f=11&t=2010" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; So where's the surprise could it be that you found other scenes
I will also be ripping all the episodes from the original series to my PC though and I'll try to go through and check them all sometime this week. If I find any more scenes I will post about them here and maybe share some caps too.
Re: Superted
The comic version is great, also most of the caps that i made were from versions of Superted in other languages than English that's why I didn't made any clips. So if you have them in English that would be great

Re: Superted
Okay, well I've searched all the episodes from the original series now and there's really nothing much else for DiD besides what ghostz has already posted. There is one hand-gag scene of Mother Nature in "SuperTed and Mother Nature," but other than that you've pretty much seen the best this series has to offer already.
We still have The Further Adventures of SuperTed to explore though, if all the episodes can ever be found. Maybe there'll be something more in that beside just the gag scene in ep 1.
As far as clips go, I'm a little busy right now to make clips. I could try to upload the full episodes somewhere for you guys, but I'm a little uncomfortable distributing copyrighted material on the net like that.
Plus the vids are pretty huge so it would take you a long time to download them unless you have very good high-speed internet.
Since they both involve the same main character, it would be easy for someone to mix it up with the original series, and maybe that was the reason for the prior erroneous SuperTed report. Or maybe someone mixed up that scene with the gagged blonde in that ep 1 scene found by ghostz. Or it might not exist at all. Who knows. I really wish the rest of this series could be found though so we can check it for more goodies.

This scene patrickxtrem mentioned could only be in The Further Adventures of SuperTed because I didn't see anything like that at all in the original series and I checked all 36 eps. Also, I've wondered for a long time about an unidentified scene I heard rumors of years ago. Suicide might recall this one too. As I remember somebody said there was a scene in some cartoon with a sexy blonde lady bound and gagged during a bank robbery scene in some old cartoon. It was linked to various cartoons such as SuperTed and Bananaman, but as we know now, both of those cartoons do not have the scene in question. So now I am wondering if it's possible that this scene actually exists in The Further Adventures of SuperTed?there is another scene I just remembered at the end of the episode where Superted played a black and white detective, a sexy woman dressed like Texas Pete is tied up at the end of that episode.
Re: Superted
You could add that cap of mother nature, because i wasn't able to find it so far. As for The Further Adventures of SuperTed I only managed to find 2 eps so far, so 11 are still missing

Re: Superted
It's possible that this Orpy Land episode is the scene that was being referred too as well. We may already have found it.As I remember somebody said there was a scene in some cartoon with a sexy blonde lady bound and gagged during a bank robbery scene in some old cartoon. Re: Superted
Or "dressed like Texas Pete" could be the episode "At the Toy Factory" where that woman has Texas Pete's mask. So probably n either cases the scene is already found

Re: Superted
Any one got the episode Further adventures of Superted Texas is mine I belive there a scene in this episode
Re: Superted
Well the scene was described with a buxom blonde and a gag so I doubt it was the Toy Store one. But the Orpy Land scene seems to match the description laid out. The alert could have mistaken it for a bank robbery. Then again it could be something else out there entirely.Or "dressed like Texas Pete" could be the episode "At the Toy Factory" where that woman has Texas Pete's mask. Re: Superted
Here's a cap of the hand-gag scene from "SuperTed and Mother Nature":

Yeah, that did cross my mind since one of the women in the scene is that Dolly Parton blonde in a red dress, which would fit the description I vaguely recall as being "a sexy blonde woman." Also I seem to remember whoever alerted about that way back when mentioned she was one of a group of people in the scene, which would also match the ep 1 scene already found. With only 12 more episodes in that cartoon, the odds would seem pretty good that this is that scene, if it was in fact from this cartoon and not something else. But the part that still makes me wonder is the "bank robbery" bit that was mentioned. You wouldn't think somebody would mix-up the setting with the Grand Ol' Opry, but it's definitely possible. Scenes witnessed at a young age are often remembered incorrectly or partially incorrectly. That happened to me in fact with the "Nuts in Space" scene. I always remembered the tied and gagged astronaut chick, but for some reason I had forgotten her gag was blue and thought it was white. It wasn't until I saw it again that I realized my memory-fail.It's possible that this Orpy Land episode is the scene that was being referred too as well. We may already have found it.
I think you're right about that. That episode has kind of a detective-noir theme to it, which was also mentioned in the alert. Gotta be that one.Or "dressed like Texas Pete" could be the episode "At the Toy Factory" where that woman has Texas Pete's mask. So probably n either cases the scene is already found
What's the scene? Tie-up? Gag?Any one got the episode Further adventures of Superted Texas is mine I belive there a scene in this episode

Re: Superted
Well I think patrickxtrem was referring to a different scene entirely from this "sexy blonde" one we've been kicking around. That's how it seemed to me anyway. From what he described, it sounds like he could have been thinking of the one with the lady in "SuperTed at the Toy Factory."Well the scene was described with a buxom blonde and a gag so I doubt it was the Toy Store one.
Yeah, as I mentioned in my previous post, it could be they just remembered the setting wrong and this is that scene, or this might not even be the right cartoon. Hard to know until we can find the rest of the series to check it. One thing stands out to me though that makes me think there's a chance this isn't the right scene: I don't recall that alert from years ago mentioning anything about 2 other women in the scene. I could understand somebody getting the location wrong, but forgetting two-out-of-3 damsels in a scene? Seems unlikely. Granted, the blonde certainly stands out the most, so maybe that's all the person remembered 'cause they were just focused on her. Still, it seems odd that the other ladies weren't mentioned in that old alert, unless I'm not remembering it correctly. But the Orpy Land scene seems to match the description laid out. The alert could have mistaken it for a bank robbery. Then again it could be something else out there entirely.
As I remember it, the alert just mentioned a sexy blonde b&g during a bank robbery as part of a group of people, but the actual number and sexes of the others weren't mentioned.

Re: Superted
Okay, now I think we're getting somewhere. Well I just reviewed the episode list for The Further Adventures of SuperTed (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Furthe ... f_SuperTed" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;) and discovered some interesting tidbits in some of the episode descriptions.
First we have #4 "The Mysticetae Mystery," in which a young girl named Kiki is kidnapped by Texas Pete according to the description. So a good chance for some DiD there.
Then we have ep 9 "Bubbles, Bubbles Everywhere," which has a very DiD-possible plot. The description mentions that a clown villain named Bubbles usurps Texas Pete's public enemy no. 1 title by robbing a casino. He also joins up with Bulk and Skeleton to rob a diamond museum. So if that scene in "Phantom of the Grand Ol' Opry" is not the long-alluded to scene with the "sexy blonde b&g during a bank robbery," then my money is on this episode.
It would seem a lot more likely that somebody could confuse a casino or diamond museum for a bank than the backstage of a country music hall wouldn't it?
And finally, we have #10 "Farewell My Lovely Spots," which I now think must have the scene patrickxtrem mentioned, not "SuperTed at the Toy Factory." The description sounds perfect for what he was talking about because it says SuperTed does "a brilliant bit of sleuthing" (the detective theme) and mentions "a Texas Pete look-alike" as the culprit he catches at the end. This sounds a lot closer to what he described than even the "Toy Factory" episode.
Ep 5 "Texas is Mine" is the only one that doesn't have a description, unfortunately.
