Why not just stop using Imageshack? I find http://postimg.org/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; to work very well. Simple, clean, and no apparent limits.

Do pictures expire randomly like imageshack?

No. Them "expiring" on Imageshack is them being deleted by mods for being even the tiniest bit sexual in nature. They've always put way more effort into moderation than actually making their site not a steaming pile of archaic garbage. Still surprised they're still around. Back on topic, Postimage has an "Adult" toggle for every upload, so if you use that, anything you throw on there should be fine for quite a while.
