Well, I watched the episode live
Shoko finds Akira tied up still, but by the time they show the scene, Shoko is untying Akira's wrists.

Looks like someone figured it out! I like you, lets be friends.

Yeah, I know my way around the mecha series a bit.

Possibly. If you mean in the episode, then that part with Akira is all that's to it, and it's not very long either.
