Misfits Scene

Post by SnidelyOne »

3 reasons to watch Misfits,

1. Nathan/Rudy are hilarious characters. (Really the whole show is hilarious)

2. The plot and powers are intriguing.

3. Misfits' third episode of the third season gives us this gem:

BONUS: On screen gagging scene

Whole scene starts at around 39:00; be warned though as there are minor spoilers should you watch without context. Do so at the risk of "possibly" spoiling the show; if you're not worried though disregard this warning. :P

Edit: Photobucket takes some getting used to; broke all the pics, lol.

Fantastic scene! What's the concept of this show? And who's the girl?

Glad ya like it!

The show is essentially like a raunchier version of Heroes set in Britain. The girl's name is Alisha, and I can't really talk about her superpower without spoiling the show, lol. As can be seen, her power doesn't exactly get her out of her situation. Which is perfectly fine. :D

Oh, sorry! As far as websites go the one I found it on was Hulu. You'd have to put up with advertisements to see it; but there's the where for ya anyway.

Misfits is the best superhero show.
Good plot, great inventive, carachters good... Misfits beat Smalville or Arrow 10-0
Another reason is this:
four series: four scenes.
Season 1 ep 6
Season 2 ep 6
Season 3 ep 4 (aone of the best episode ever)
Season 4 ep 1 and 2 (finally in a superhero show a guy gag the girl with voice powers, not Arrow, Smallville or Birds of Prey where Zatanna and Black Canary are ungagables)

Sorry for my bad english, i'm italian

That's true! This show does have a few more scenes but I've a bad habit of bringing up my favorites to the exclusion of all the others. Thanks for posting the other scene occurrences! The only one I'm confused over is your bringing up of season 3 ep 4 having a scene; I'm assuming you meant ep 3? At least when I watched on Hulu season 3's 4th episode I hadn't run into any scenes; though perhaps the air dates differ from broadcast to broadcast?

While I've not seen Smallville or Green Arrow; I'd imagine that Misfits is a more enjoyable watch. I do know that Misfits entertains me as much as Heroes' first season did; a shame that Heroes' quality slowly declined; at least by my standards. :S

Speaking of Heroes; that blonde lady with superspeed that showed up after season 1 had a scene in some web show I saw on a website a few years ago; the Escapist website had a show on it about saving a video game princess that came into the real world. For the life of me I can't remember the show's name though. ;_;

Edit: I think the name of the show might have been: "The Princess is in Your Castle" or something like that anyway, lol.
Double Edit: According to IMDB, the show was called "A Good Knight's Quest"; why I didn't check IMDB before is beyond me.
