I decided to check all the series, 52 eps, for some other scenes beside that gag scene. I was a bit disappointed because after checking the comics of this series, I saw that the producers of the animated series skipped many great DIDs, mostly gags.

Yeah that ep 24 is epic. They also get tied up by plants right after.

The Comic series have more gagged scenes.

Yup, the double gagged DiDs scene in ep 24 is great and there's some other nice DiD scenes here I didn't know about, but the comic version has way more gags and better scenes overall. It stinks that they didn't adapt more of those stories from the comics to the cartoon. Good rundown of the DiD content in the series though.

Well sometime you follow the comics 100%, and sometimes you make you animate your own ideas. Either way we still got a great double gag scene in the animation which wasn't featured in the comics, so I think it's a win win situation
