In this classic 1990's fine, I had this issue but lost it, thank God for Amazon, we find this boyfriend telling his girlfriend his big idea for a movie shot. Don't let the cover fool you, yes the two main heroines do get tied and gagged with hot wheels tracks but there is no nudity but a great collection of damsels in distress scenes in one comic.

It's a classic one and probably the very seed that started Empowered. This issue likely spawned all the "DiD Commissions" Adam Warren was getting that inspired him to make his damsel filled graphic novel series. Good times.

No kidding? I did not know that, know what the titles are for his novels?

Warren had been doing DiD scenes in his Dirty Pair comics long before that. This just added onto the already large pile.

Yeah but these titles were more mainstream. It seemed that way to me anyway. Most of the conversations about his work came about in my area after his Gen 13 bootlegs, and this issue was the first time he inserted the meta talk of "man we sure get tied up a lot." This issue pretty much felt like an intro to the Empowered series in spirit.

Every issue is worth getting for any DiD fan. Highly recommended.
