Laying under a kotatsu apparently feels like you're tied up. :| I mean, I'm on board here, but that has got to be the dumbest excuse for fanservice I've ever seen.

Granted, most fanservice moments tend to be poorly justified on the regular; though should they attempt to appeal to one's bondage fetish I can hardly fault them for trying. xD

On another note; this scene reminds me heavily of a scene out of Ch. 95 from the To Love Ru manga:
