I'm sure that by now, everyone knows about how Octavia from Tears to Tiara gets the DID treatment in all its versions. What I don't get is where this came from...
I have checked the visual novel, the animation, and the reboot but none of those have this version of the scene in them. Does anyone know where it came from?
First of all great find . Was there an uncut version to this series, that featured extra scenes, like in the case of Asura Cryin' viewtopic.php?f=20&t=2418&p=11568&hilit ... yin#p11568" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
If we compare how she was tied up in this pic and those from the animated episode, than this scene is clearly a fan-made one

It's from the PS3 game, if I recall correctly.

They didn't cut it out actually. The Anime scene was merely adapted differently. The scene in Tears to Tiara is the same scene but altered slightly to fit the anime's story. I actually like the anime version better than the game or the trailer.
Huh, I actually like the one in the trailer better. It looked better and goes along with the orignial source material. Welp, that finally answers the question that's been bugging me for 5 years now. Thanks for the closure guys!
I think when comparing between the trailer scene and the anime scene the greatest tragedy of the anime scene is the rather shoddy lighting and the distinct lack of exposure on the damsel; something that the trailer DOES address; albeit too briefly to properly appreciate it. If anything the anime scene gets bonus points for the gloating captor.
The game scene is awesome if only for setting a precedent within video games to have DID scenes whilst simultaneously being well shown and depicted.
