According to the preview of next week's "Legend Of Korra", (Saturday April 28, 11:00 AM on Nickelodeon) Korra will be getting snatched by the anti benders after she makes a challenge to their leader Amon. Looks like in the preview she has her arms spread and tied above her head. Hopefully we get a nice scene to balance out this week's GiD.

Well I wouldn't say the creators are adverse to female DiD. Given Katara was tied up LOTS of times. And now Korra has 2. Or will next week. I'd say the full treatment part is just bad luck on the story telling. XD

I don't think that's it. Most people don't see it as a sexual thing, and they definitely wouldn't on a kids show. But DID is seen as old hat. Some critics will give a work of fiction real shit for cliches. It seems to me this creative team wants to avoid doing the old fashioned.
