The guy isn't completely off but this "muh both sides" bs needs to stop. The far-right is currently holding most of the power in the US, European governments are mostly right or center-right now and Starmer and Democrats aren't far-left for shit. In fact, Starmer is acting even more of a right-wjngers than his Tory predecessors.

The reality is that these people love authoritarianism and use religion, protect the children or whatever bullshit excuses to pass laws that will make both their electoral base feel better and increase their power. And while both sides have these POSs, in the case of countries like the US or Italy it's HEAVILY one-sided on who's doing the censoring. And it's not the right-wing.

Also, allow me to doubt that someone ever got arrested for writing "I don't like mass immigration" or "I wouldn't date an immigrant" without there being something else of a bigger gravity.

I don't think anyone on the left is actually pro Disney. Their ''progressive virtues'' are widely seen as performative. However when facing off against a greater evil then they are thus the lesser evil. Of course you root for Disney if it means rooting against a freak like Desantis. In the same vein Disney collaborating with that greater evil makes them part of it and is worthy of scorn. I don't think there's anything hypocritical about that. If Disney's behavior changes then the reaction to them has to change suit.
