Virgin girls are meant to be sacrificed, so it's a good thing a girl who is very much not a virgin is out to save them!
The main character gets captured, tied hands behind and gagged, and manages to kick out part of the wall. The captor then removes her shoe and sock and licks her bare foot. She pulls free, cuts the ropes a different way, and teases the captor with her foot in order to hit him with a hammer.
We also see another girl tied hand and (bare) foot.
The main actress is a favorite of mine. I remember she hinted at the scene in an interview, and then it took ages for the feature to actually come out. When it did, the scene delivered and it's pretty great. Bandana cleave gags are, like the actress, a personal favorite.
The most interesting dimension is that this is largely a feminist film. I believe the scene is intentionally fetishistic to espouse or toy with the horrors of men fetishizing women this way, and yet here we are enjoying it as if it were any other damsel sequence. You gotta love it.
It's impossible to guess what the audience reaction will be to something. We know that what we're seeing is fiction, and as long as no-one was actually harmed or manipulated behind the scenes (because we know about the horrors of Harvey Weinstein and Dan Schneider), then I think it's really hard to feel guilty about enjoying something we know is just acting.
It's kinda like that meme where in The Dark Knight, the Joker is holding a knife to a woman's throat, and it says, "Who else wanted to be Maggie Gyllenhaal in this scene?" Of course, they don't want a man to hold a knife at them for real. But to be a character in a pretend situation? I feel like it's not much different than how we feel seeing obvious fiction play out. We'd be horrified if those same scenarios occurred in the real world.
