Basically, a PI has a (very old) partner who likes to gamble and owes a bit too much to a local maffioso. The said maffioso kidnaps the partner, and gives the PI a choice: kidnap the gf of another don and keep her captive for a certain time, which he does with the help of his female partner and a man from the maffioso. The gf at some moment "escapes" (the captivity is very loose, feels more like beach vacations), and the maffioso's guy catches her back, restrains and gags her (as well as her dog!), but has to flee because the Don's hitmen found them (he basically thought about everything..Except that the Don's team could have dogs...).
