An old movie from 1979 or 1980 depending on which year you go by. Filmed in either 1977 or 1978. Lead girl born May 1965, making her 12 or 13 during time of filming.

Anyway, it's about a kidnapping of a girl named Carol, and the boys who suck at martial arts who try to rescue her. She spends the majority of the movie as a prisoner, and at one point, losing a sandal.

27:22 is when she gets nabbed.

30:24 is when we first see her tied up, lying on her back on the ground.

33:05 is an over-the-shoulder carrying scene, leading to her being placed on the ground.

34:03 is when she gets picked up again (many close-ups of her face), and carried to another spot, placed on the ground, and her gag and bindings are removed since her captors believe her to have no chance of escape from that spot.

57:36 is when she gets regagged and rebound, and one of her male rescuers (a boy her age) is also tied up and gagged. While she is being carried away (first over-the-shoulder, then later in a sitting-like position), she slips off one of her sandals. Intentionally, as it's one of those elaborate sandals that does not come off easily or by accident.

1:00:14 is when she and the boy are both in the captors' shack, sitting on the floor. One of her feet is bare, the other in a sandal. Her gag is hanging around her neck.

1:01:11 is when they try to turn their bodies to untie each other after they overhear the bad guys talking about killing them.

1:02:09 is when Carol's rescuers notice the sandal.

1:17:57 is another glimpse of the captives.

1:20:34 is when Carol is regagged (the boy even says "leave her alone!" to the captor) and carried away over-the-shoulder and placed in the backseat of a car, where she lies on her stomach in a position similar to a hogtie but without the connecting rope. She is later rescued. Many views/angles of this situation.

An article about the actress. It briefly mentions the scene in The Little Dragons where she's tied up, and has rats start to show interest in her. It turns out the actress actually had peanut butter coating her toes for that scene to entice the rats! Actual rats, 12/13 year old actress with peanut butter on her toes for them. Wtf?!

That said, the description of that scene in the article is a bit inaccurate. She's not actually tied up in that specific scene. It occurs at 35:40 if you're interested. It must be a very thin coating, because I can't tell there's peanut butter there.

It is interesting, though, that so much attention was paid to her feet. She is barefoot in an early scene while outdoors (20:07), and later wears sandals, has rats approach her feet while she sits and cries, and later removes a sandal intentionally to serve as a clue, and spends the rest of her captivity with one foot bare that we sometimes get varied views of, including the sole.

Taking lots of screenshots from a movie where someone is basically a prisoner almost the entire time is time-consuming, but you get to enjoy the fruits of my labor!

It's a classic, thanks for sharing such comprehensive screen shots. I've only ever seen poor VHS tape copies of this scene. The foot thing notwithstanding, the amount of film invested in OTS carries and her bum is also kind of telling.

Joe Spinell, the creepy dude in the overalls, rules. He's a scene stealer in everything he's ever done.

You're welcome! I really want to see sharing screenshots become the standard. Not saying everyone should post tons of them, but enough to give a feel of the scene at least.

So, the movie has 3 OTS carry scenes, a foot slipping out of a sandal and getting close to the camera at one point, multiple views where we can see the bindings, gagging, ungagging and regagging, and as you pointed out, views of her butt when carried. (I didn't notice that last part.) And the peanut butter on her toes (I couldn't tell) when the rats showed up.

Yeah, I think a director is definitely putting personal preferences into his film.
