Sharky & George

Post by uhu »

For those not knowing this show: it is a French cartoon from the early 90s about two Fish PIs fighting crime. It ran for two seasons between 1990 and 1992 on French public television (before being sold to other countries), with an interesting format: each episode lasted only 13 minutes.
The show writers were rather prolific, because in this short period of time, they managed to produce a whopping amount of 104 episodes.
The show has never been digitalised. 3 VHS volumes were released (each lasting 45 mins), in France first, later in the UK, but this was rather obscure to say the least (never saw it in any store). There is also an obscure German VHS release. And a canadian DVD release with 10 episodes, which is just a compilation of the French Volume 1 VHS which ended on the tube.
Meaning most of what you can get are low quality VHS rips that ended on youtube. Right now, only a fraction of the episodes ended up online (around 45%).
From the whole offer, I could only find 3 DID scenes (and one GID), one including the infamous full treatment somedude mentioned a long time ago.
First two scenes involve the same character, princess Sardinia.
She gets kidnapped offscreen and is seen tied up later on from 06:48

Here she gets captured, and is also tied up, but this time she keeps her face veil at 39:16:

Full treatment occurs with a character called sarah prawn, from 08:20

Nice finds. A Show where you don't necessarily expect a full treatment.

Reminds me of Fish Police in a way.
