Unicorn in the garden

On this classic UPA cartoon short at 5:42 we find the man's wife tied up and gagged in a straight jacket on the account she try to send her husband to the looney bin on account he saw a live unicorn in the garden but the doctor and the two policemen think she is the crazy one. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1teJjX-smdE

One would think Thurber had issues with women, considering the way they're treated in his writings...none more than this one, though.
