The premise for the show is something about an Otaku going to a fantasy realm and being an ambassador for "moe" culture; at least that's as much as I got from it.

It's third episode just happened to have a scene:

There aren't any gags and the angles aren't the greatest, but the scene goes on for a long time (it starts about 10:50 in).

Yeah, I hadn't even noticed the blood on the sword. Replayed the scene and a generic guard of the princess was stabbed. Not sure whether he lived or not; definition of a red shirt I suppose!
