Well the in the final episode we have some other scenes while she is chained to a wall, plus one of her sidekicks is tied to a chair and is tortured. I expected something better, at least a ball gag, because all the minions of the "Torture Master" had ball gags...

Unfortunately BECAUSE the minions were dressed like that i figured they wouldn't do much more than the previous ep usually from what I've seen, when the minions look comical like this the scenes involving hostages are more serious and don't do any of the common gag (no pun intended) DID scenes played for laughs or fan service type DID scenes. Typically once i see shackles or cuffs thats it for the scenes and typically they dont go to ropes/tape bondage, but it does work in reverse where they're tied up then they shackle them or put them in cells

Well first they mentioned that this ep will be the last one, because the superheroes defeated the final boss and took off their masks, but now I see that the ep numbers were expended to 22. So I'm not really sure what to think

Yeah, the shift in tone of this show is rather jarring.
I preferred it when it was a lighthearted show about inept wannabe superheros.

I'm still hoping that everything from the end of episode 7 on was all Masayoshi's dream or something, but there's not much hope for that at this point, I suppose. A shame too, since the first 6 episodes were really entertaining before it got painfully stupid.
