Anime Sightings Old and New - Saint Seiya

I recently watched some episodes from the original Saint Seiya purely as a blast from the past, and though I saw only a small fraction of the full series I came across two minor DID scenes:

Episode #24, starting around 18:15 - Marin (young Seiya's instructor at the Sanctuary) is chained upside down to a pole.

Episode #29, starting around 13:15 and continuing into the early part of the next episode - Saori, the reincarnation of the Greek goddess Athena, is suspended on wires from wrists and knees.
